i wasnt able to figure out the answer for question 22.
can someone please help ?

When 3 springs are kept and weight is W ; extension e is x
When 1 spring is kept and weight is W ; e is x*3
When 2 springs are kept and weight is 2W ; e is 3x*2/2
=3x
hence, D is the correct answer.
