Physics P11 13A fuse question!

I ve confirmed the answer wi9th my school teacher and it was D
the lamp will work normally because the fuse only blows out the crcuit and melt itself if the current exceeds the FUSE RATING .. RESt it would have no effect....

the same idea once came in the old papers and the answer was that cables will melt

I agree..very confusing! All the options seemed right and wrong at the same time
