yar i cant understand how to do part b

can anyone gives some ideas on how to outline an experiment to demonstrate diffraction of transverse and longitudinal wave like in ON 08 Q6 b (i) and (ii).
do i have to draw 3D diagram?

any diagram attached is highly appreciated.

You can draw diagrams for more clarity but it's time consuming and there isn't much space for them on the paper.
Just explain the Diffraction Grating Experiment in a few lines, and that should be sufficient. Just go through the examiner report and marking scheme to cover it fully

A diagram wouldn't be necessary. Just outline what's needed. If you really want to draw a diagram, 2D will do.

The first part's basically a slit experiment e.g water/ripple tank/screen or microwave transmitter/receiver. In the second one, you'll probably just have to change the source e.g sound via loudspeaker, and receiver e.g microphone.
