Just remember that like poles repel and unlike poles attract. Learn the experiment which asks you to draw the magnetic field lines using compasses or sprinkling iron pieces. I think that's it...the rest is about electromagnetismCan someone explain for me Magnetism and everything bout it? Also radioactivity...
Saad Mughal please make thread for physics revision as you made in atp's so we can clarify our concepts.I don't know from where I got these so I can't give credits.
But, I do not own these notes.
The magnetic field lines in the iron core will be the same as those in coil A. Use the right handgrip rule...they will be in the downward direction for the top half of the core and in the upward direction for the lower half...I thinkhttp://papers.xtremepapers.com/CIE/Cambridge International O Level/Physics (5054)/5054_s12_qp_22.pdf.....Q9 a(ii)....can somebody please draw the magnetic lines of force and please explain too
The question will give you the number of radioactive atoms at the beginning...and their number after a period of time. If say the number of atoms is 4200 at first & then drops down to 1050 after 3 minutes, then their half life is 1 minute...u apply the ratio methodHow do you find the half life?
Okay so I still don't get how to use the hand rules...so if there's an alpha particle passing between magnetic poles, will it be attested to the North Pole or the South Pole?
How to determine the movement in galvanometer NEEDLE ? ( ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION)
Can somebody explain how to find the resultant magnetic field in several different cases, such as two current carrying wires into the page which are closer to one another.
For almost 10 years, the site XtremePapers has been trying very hard to serve its users.
