what happens to the voltage as resistance increases ? I am not sure but my teacher told me that as resistance increases, voltage increases !

your teacher is right
eg. 2V AND 1 ohm the current is 2A
when we double the resistance and make it 2 ohm we need to double the voltage to keep the current 2A
because voltage is directly proportional to resistance
