Does anyone know how to find the frequency of the audio wave from the frequency modulated carrier wave and also how to find the frequency of the audio wave from the amplitude modulated carrier wave.

Thanks coz this has a high chance of appearing.

For a frequency modulated carrier wave, frequency of info signal is the rate at which the frequency of carrier wave changes i.e. the time period b/w two maxima of frequency ...

For an amplitude modulated waveform, frequency of info signal is the rate at which the amplitude of carrier wave changes... i.e from one minimum to another minimum or from one maximum to another maximum...

For frequency of information signal, start from one point of the wave and end it to nxt successive point on the wave..that's the time period for the information signal ..now find the frequency !

f=1/T = 1/ 8x10^-6 = 125oooHz = 125KHz
