plz any one can explain what is the use of the:
1. Capacitor
2.temperature sensitive switch (using thermistor, transistor, potential divider)(Q-what would ghapper if the resisitor used in he potential divider is reduced)

Capacitor stores electric charges and is useful in many electronic circuits.

The second question isnt much clear could u kindly elaborate.

In the name of Allah begin your difficult tasks as he is the one who provides us with knowledge

If you mean what the functions of (1) capacitor and (2) thermistor in a potential divider for a transistor circuit, then the answer is:

(1) Automatic timer (e.g., for windscreen wiper on intermittent, or time-lock devices, etc)

(2) Automatic switch based on temperature (e.g., air-conditioner, heater, oven, refrigerator, etc.)

Depending on whether it is connected in the base circuit, it will be used to switch on / off the collector circuit when [capacitor reaches full charge] / [thermistor detects high temperature].
