can anybody explain Q32 JUNE 2006 PAPER 1? (MAY SEEM stupid to ask but still :p ANYONE? ;) )

When u connect the resistor in parallel,the overall resistance decreases so the current increases..thats why option A is correct...the pd will remain the same as in parallel circuits the pd remains the same..!!
