i think i got it..for b),i got 12cm^2..
for c),AP:pB is equal to 3:2 rite..then by using simple ratio,we find that the area of triangle APQ is 12cm^2..then u add this to area of triangle BPQ which is 8cm^2..

APQ + BPQ = 12 + 8 = 20cm^2

total are of the triangle is 50cm^3..so to get triangle AQC,u just deduct 20 from 50..is this the correct method?

ABC - ABQ = 50 - 20 = 30cm^2

u r talking about area(cm^2), but the unit u r using indicates volume(cm^3)

bcuz QC:BQ is 6:4 = 3:2 and since the triangles r similar the ratio will be same for all sides :)

yeah it's cm^2 because it's area not the volume......beware of it....don't make this mistake in exams
