Today, I opened the admission criteria of a university .... So I found that they are saying to pass in PRINCIPAL SUBJECTS ... What are the principal subjects in A-Levels ANY IDEA ?

principal subs are those subs offered by CIE which u take
for example Cambridge offers a wide range of subjects which are known as the principal subs
so what they mean is that u must pass in the subs which u have taken to get admission in a univeristy, or their minimum requirement is a pass in each of the subs which u have taken in a levels
