Private Candidate - Please help

i have given my AS level in may/june 2011 as a regular through a college and i wanna give my A2 biology in nov/oct 2011 as a private candidate. I'd be very helpful if someone could tell me the process of applying as a private candidate. I have already sent in the form to british council from peshawar through standard chaarted bank.
how will i know that they have recived the mail and that im accepted? How are they gonna contact me? and where would i have to give my exams?

They will mail you the details to your home address or email account.

You will get a provisional statement of entry through your email within a month and a few weeks before the exams you will get the real statement of entry through mail.
