NOT my poem but I LUVED IT

Soldier


Night passes, 4 on the clock, I'm awake.
Know what comes next, only loneliness it takes...
I ran, ran and hid, in fear of being perused.
But tonight I let the key to the inside of me be used.

Long it has taken, but feels it is good time
to lay before you, a confession of mine.
The audience here, fellows, is both you and I.
Never before has it, the seal of words, been prized.

I know it does not seem so but there is a mighty lot
of things that I miss, with me now, that are not.
There was this little list of names I adored,
of people I liked better, than all the world and more.

I would have written details, INTERESTING they are!
Have rainbows and demons, have being close yet so far;
Have crying and laughing, have prayers and dreams,
but I'm afraid we haven't the time to set scenes.

In essence what I want you to know is that I
appear like a soldier, meant only to survive.
But the list of names I adored, I do miss...
Lately I am not sure if it, any more, exists.

Just know I am not cold, I have got memories,
and figures of smoke that, at times, haunt me.
They look like you and they look like myself;
They look like the past that I can't, now, smell.

I am brave and now I am strong, also!
What you see when you see me is not all a show.
I agree I would break or cry before you, never!
But don't you too, have inside you, fragility, hidden ever?

I have grown up, I am al right, and good here alone.
Everyday I survive... A soldier must march on.

SO umm this is a Poem(AS TOLD BY THE ROSE)
about a girl who realizes that
LIFE IS NOT FOREVER
and she wants to erase all her mistakes before she
goes from this world
ask forgiveness form all those whom she might have hurt intentionally or unintentionally
She truly believes that if she succeeds in this mission
she will be in peace after she dies
and will be in heaven like all those who have done good in this world

Some friends are good,
others just want food.

Some friends are true,
others may throw you.

Some friends make you LOL,
others might make you fall.

Some friends may stay,
others may walk away.


It's not just a rhyme,
it's all about time.

In fact it's life,
we all have to strive.

It's how we live,
you take and give.

It's...listen,


People come and go,
out of the blue they show,

and in seconds they leave,
but just don't grieve.

People cross our path for a reason,
they may stay forever, or just for a season.

They're either a lesson or a blessing,
that's life you experience, just keep progressing.

Choosing our friends, our prophet did command us,
so choose wisely the pure and pious.

You know,

You don't really have to talk every day,
or meet each other, from day to day.

You don't have to spend hours explaining,
or try your best to be entertaining.

All you need is understanding,
with that, your friendship is so outstanding.

You just need love,
but not any love.

Try loving for the sake of Allah,
