Mixed Emotions

Inside im crying,
Outside im smiling
You may not care,
But its hard for me to bare
The pain swelling inside me
Making me want to die

Thoughts of suicide always race through my head
Then comes the tears that i shed
You say you understand
And i just need a helping hand
That may be true
But first take a walk in my shoes
Depression, anger, and unbearable pain
You'll be taking a walk
through the valley of shame

As time moves slower,
My self-esteem drops lower
Am i nothing to this world?
Or just a worthless teenage girl?

Ever had those days when you were just, sad?
Not because you were hurt, not because you were mad.

You just feel it, you can't express it.
All you do is just suppress it.

You're diagnosed and there's no way out,
shattered, you donno what this is about.

"Everything's gonna be better tomorrow",
You think to yourself, as you hide your sorrow.

Thing is, I understand,

I know of those nights you spent crying,
and those "it's okay" you just keep lying.

Those days you felt alone yet surrounded,
to the mysteries of life you're dumbfounded.

And I know of those days you wore that smile,
to hide those million emotions for a while.

Those days you'd go to bed early,
"I'm tired", you'd excuse sincerely.

Listen,

You're never alone, and never will be,
He's always with you, He'll always be.

Life can get a bit tough,
I know, it can be terribly rough.

But that's how it is,

you can't have a rainbow without a little rain,
shining stars without darkness, you won't gain.

So smile, your lord never left your side,
He knows your worries, he surely will guide.

Smile for it's the best remedy,
smile, it confuses your enemy.

Wake up tomorrow, start a new life,
wake up, get out of your hive.

I want something... But I just realized i'm too far away. Thousands of reasons force me to move on to it. But voice of insultations makes me pathetic to go for it. There's this light which lightens my heart. Seems like it says that I can be better than the turtle. So I just gotta keep trying no matter how hard and slowly I go. What matters is WHO I AM...
