According to the Internet hydrogen bonding does affect viscosityOne had hydrogen bonding other had van-der Waals forces so would the hydrogen bond one be more viscous
That was the last statement

Ag and NH3 I did D it was either A or B I thinkWhat did you guys put for the Ag+ and Nh3 question? I put A (all three options) and for the PVC one I put the bacteria and fungi option.
the Pvc one was A bcoz the option was that bacteria and fungi cannot decompose it since it is non - bio degradableAg and NH3 I did D it was either A or B I think
And PVC one I did ethene would not be formed
It was D cause option 2 said that nh3 acts as a base but it doesn't cause the final product is Ag(NH3)2 and it hasn't accepted a protonAg and NH3 I did D it was either A or B I think
And PVC one I did ethene would not be formed
So how would ethene be formed in it?the Pvc one was A bcoz the option was that bacteria and fungi cannot decompose it since it is non - bio degradable
Yeah now I get how ethene would also be formed and answer was AI think the PVC one was a repeated question not sure though.. And the ag one was D coz nh3 doesn't act as a base
Ya 3 was wrong what were the other 2 options and the one that will be oxidized into carboxylic acid was 3-methyl-hex somethingThe catalyst one statement 3 was wrong catalyst does not increase average kinetic energy of particles, right?
Yeah now I get how ethene would also be formed and answer was A
Dont remember the first two but they were correct I'm sureYa 3 was wrong what were the other 2 options and the one that will be oxidized into carboxylic acid was 3-methyl-hex something
Will not be decomposed by bacteria and fungiWhich ans is A?
CorrectI see, and which organic compounds cannot be dehydrated? I picked Ch3OH and the tertiary alcohol. you guys?
What question was that? The one which asked which of the following effects of burning hydrocarbons does not have a handful effect on the environment? Will not be decomposed by bacteria and fungi
Can't tertiary alcohols be dehydrated?! The carbon would be able to firm a double bond with any if the three alkyl groups...no? All my answers are different from everyone else's here :/I see, and which organic compounds cannot be dehydrated? I picked Ch3OH and the tertiary alcohol. you guys?
Which of these statement is wrong about PVCWhat question was that? The one which asked which of the following effects of burning hydrocarbons does not have a handful effect on the environment?
Well I think you're actually right. Tertiary alcohols cannot be oxidised and dehydration needs any neighbouring carbon to have an H atom attached to it. Or was it not a tertiary alcohol and something which actually cannot be?Can't tertiary alcohols be dehydrated?! The carbon would be able to firm a double bond with any if the three alkyl groups...no? All my answers are different from everyone else's here :/
Was that the question? :/ I got 4 answers wrong so far and in p2, I got the whole of the last question wrong cause I forgot that hot conc kmno4 breaks the double bond, so if there's no ECF, I lost 12 marks in one questionWhich of these statement is wrong about PVC
Decomposed by bacteria and fungi
Decomposed by sunlight
Ethene produced when broken
HCl or something like this produced when broken
Well I think you're actually right. Tertiary alcohols cannot be oxidised and dehydration needs any neighbouring carbon to have an H atom attached to it. Or was it not a tertiary alcohol and something which actually cannot be?
