hassan!! its a Series Question not a co-ordinate geometry one ..... the ans.....As the line is tangent to the curve so this means that it has its discriminant will be equal to 0. square the equation ie . y= 2x +c and then put it equall to 4x^2....and then it becomes like 4x^2-4x+c^2=4x and simply it and then find ...use b^2-4ac=0....put the relavent values and then calculate the value of c.
Ok then.... ar=3 eq1
Ohh sorry ...i just saw that u were asking for the ans of question 7 :/hassan!! its a Series Question not a co-ordinate geometry one ..... the ans.....
i could have thanked you but ur signature says to thank allah not you..... so thankyou allah!!Ok then.... ar=3 eq1
a/1-r = 12 eq2
so from eq 2, a= 12-12r
r(12-12r)=3 , final eq 4r^2 - 4r + 1 =0
r=1/2 and a =6
PART 2
1st term 6 so a=6
2nd is 3 so diff= -3
for sum=n/2( 2a + d(n-1)
s= 10( 2(6)-3(20-1)
s= -450
Hehehe.. Thanking Allah will only increase my reward.. No bigi..!!i could have thanked you but ur signature says to thank allah not you..... so thankyou allah!!
kiddinn thakss a lott!!
