I've just begun using xtreme papers and came across to a term called 'variant' which people tend to use a lot apparently. I couldn't find what it is so it'd help me a lot if anyone explained it to me. Thanks in advance :)

"Variants" are essentially different papers of the same component administered across different administrative zones, so as to prevent cheating to occur.
For example, if I sat the exam on 5th May and you'd sit on 12th May in another country, we'd be giving different variants, so we can't share the question paper after the exams. There are 3 variants in total.
