Hey guys im having problem in s1. Its N 09 p62 Q1 (ii). how do u find out estimate for sigma(standard deviation)? how do u guess the probability? can someone help me out?

hey as 39 is the lower quartile and63 upper quartile,,
then <39 has probability = 1/4 and < 63 = 3/4
make eqs
p(x<39) = 1/4
and
p(x<63)=3/4
solve them......
:)

how do you know that the prob of 39 is 1/4?

What are the advantages and dis-advantages of Stem & Leaf, Box & Whiskers, Cumulative Graph, Grouped Data, & Raw Data. (Is there sth more?)
