how do u tell exactly that the question requires permutation or combination! i suck at this subject!! :/

^Comes with practice.
The rule is if the order matters, use permutations. If it doesn't, use combinations. But most people giving the exam this May would (and should!) already know this much.

ohhh this is cambridge...i thought it was S1 edexcel, my bad no wonder i didnt know what permutations and combinations were..phew!! :)
