i dont know y bt i have solved this question 3 tyms bt every time i failed to do it correctly...help me out

well a tanx is equal to opposite/adjacent
that makes the opposite K and the adjacent 1
find using pythagorus therom the hypotinus in terms of K
after that sinx is opposite/hyp

tan x = k that's what in the question...any no. we write has a denominator of 1 ...right??

so we say tan x = k/1

and then from the eqn tan x = opp/adj we say opp is k and adj is 1 :)

well for i)
u can clearly see that for the
j component-it is 4 since it is midway
k-it is 5 since it is 5 units above
i-(14-6) the bottom length minus the top lenght divide by 2 will give u the distance
try it out and hopefully if u understand my terrible explanation second part will be very easy
