She created the immortality spell, the other side. -.-
She is also a strong warlock, as strong as Silas.
Davina got her witch powers from a harvest. And they practice/do ancestral magic, which is very powerful.
But what Qetsiyah did was Expression, the most powerful type of magic. Expression need lots of sacrifices. Bonnie became very strong because of the expression.
Qetsiyah created other side, she created cure which can kill any immortal being. Davina doesn't know how to kill an original, yet.

Alaric wasn't a vampire. Get your facts straight.
He was a vampire hunter.
He was a Vampire. Tell me one reason why he wan't a vampire.
Michael was a vampire hunter and he doesn't feed on living things (he said). Is he not a vampire?

Michael was a Vampire, who also hunted other vampires.
Alaric was a completely different case. He wasn't originally a vampire, he was never transformed into a Vampire.
Ester turned him into a Hunter, with that Immortal stake, to kill all Vampires.
That's all. He didn't have fangs. He didn't feed on blood.
And just because Michael was a Vampire, doesn't mean all Vampire-Hunters are freakin' Vampires.
Alaric had to drink human blood to completely to a vampire. He fed on bonnie, he did have fangs, his eyes turned red like any normal vampire and he has every powers of a vampire. The white oak stake can kill an original because esther created them by bounding them to white oak. Alaric was bounded to Elena.
