Enzymes are bilogical catalyst that speed up the rate of the reaction without being used up. altering end products nor reactions equlibrium point. Enzymes have a spesfic binding site 'Active site' to which substrate binds by temporary bonds between the R-groups of the enzyme and the substrate forming E-S complex. The substrate either binds by lock and key hypothesis or by induced fit hypothysis (u can expand this point). Enzymes lower the activation energy of the reaction by holding the substrate in the correct orientation for the start of the reaction. thats it =)

Enzymes are protein bological catalysts that speeds up the reaction without itself being used.
Enzyme works by lowering the activation energy
Each enzyme is ''specific'' to each substrate.
When the substrate fits in the active site of the enzyme, temporary bonds are formed between the R groups of enzyme's amino acid and the substrate.. An Enzyme-Substrate complex is then formed.
these are the 4 points for 4 marks :D
