urgent stats help ∑(x-a) and ∑(x-a)^2

HI,

can any help please help me how to find out mean and sd from this given data ∑(x-a) and ∑(x-a)^2

any notes will also be helpful

this question is extremely expected to come in paper 62 (insider report)

suppose that y=x-a.. then u'll have ul have ∑y n ∑y^2..they'll probably give u n=something..so just calculate mean n standard deviation using y..the convert to x by turning y=x-a to x=y+a... ull get mean..but dont add nythn to s>d it will remain unchanged..
