IGCSE = International GCSEs

Most schools abroad do IGCSEs and they are often considered to be easier than GCSEs. However, UCAS recognises GCSEs to be the equivalent to IGCSEs.
They are unlikely to contain a coursework component.

I got this from wikipedia: The IGCSE allows teaching to be placed in a localised context, making it relevant in different regions. It is suitable for students whose first language may not be English and this is acknowledged throughout the examination progress.

GCSEs are what most students in the UK take as they are the most widely available qualification.

hope u got it :D

Whoever says IGCSEs are easy, don't know anything about IGCSEs, because they are NOT easy. Maybe easier to some people, but that doesn't qualify IGCSEs as being easy.

IGCSE and GCE O Level are equally recognized in most regions and universities, so it's safe to assume neither of them is better nor worse.
IGCSEs are designed for International Students and GCE O Level for the natives of the United Kingdom.

And EdExcel is another Board. IGCSE and GCE follow the Board Examination offered by Cambridge Qualifications.
EdExcel is another board like that which follow a different syllabus.
