Not the guts but preparation. Well. I am getting better and I believe I can do it.

Yes, but everyone has preparation.
You don't see everyone getting full marks, do you?
Preparation alone can not get you 40/40.
Only a few out of the entire country get full marks. Believe me, even the most well-prepared get at least one MCQ wrong. I've seen it happen countless times.

But the most important thing is to concentrate, if you are aiming for perfection, that is.
Solve the easy MCQ's faster, and then when you get to the tricky ones - give them more time.
The first 10 or so MCQ's are easiest.. give them less time.
Use the Process of Elimination to cross out those answers which are clearly incorrect and then figure out the correct one.

Of course it is possible.
Last year, i scored 40/40 in both Physics and Chemistry P1's in CIE's.

All that is needed is concentration and smartness.
A lot of people can get 37 or 38. That's not hard.
But the last 2 marks are what matter. They sometimes throw in one or two tricky questions in each P1 that most of the people get wrong.
Btw how much did you score in economics mcq paper ?

You sir are so accurate there. Everytime when I solve a mcq paper, I roughly give 20 minutes or more and I when I check the marking scheme, I am like "itna asaan tha agar statement dobara parh leta." . In CIE's InshaAllah I will be sharp.

Remember one principle: the easiest one will become the toughest if you are not concentrating. Best of Luck!
