I took four subjects for Alevels in school- Maths, Eco, Business and Accounts. But then i decided that i would drop maths as i am planning to study Account, business or Law ( neither of them requires maths) in University. I will give these three subjects on 2010 May and also planning to give SAT and LAW on october which means i have to take a year gap. will it be a problem????

you can cover and take all the chosen subject in May 2010.
for this there is need of continuous study. and even you can take private tuition
for early completion and preparation.
i think this is far better rather than a gap of a year.
taking a gap is not a good thing.

Yea i wanted to giv em in may. But british council said that i cant give both school and private subjects in the same session (i took law in private). Can you please specify why taking a year gap isnt good?

gap of year will decelerate/ no touch with your study .
it is just same as you attend regular classes in the school and other way
you do privately and feel something missing(regularity).
competition is increasing .
university prefer fresh candidates.
it is just suggestion you have to take decision.r
