WONDERING ABUT ECONOMICS

was just wondering how much can economics in A LEVELS help us in our future.............i mean which careers SPECIFICALLY SUPPORT IT? and another thing.......what if somebody hasnot taken any economics subjects in OLEVELS and takes them in A LEVELS? CAN HE MANAGE PERFECTLY WELL..............?
