I don't know the no. of marks for the question but I think it was for 5 marks. If you get 1 vector wrong then you may get a mark for the other vector but if you get both wrong then you don't get any marks. And if your vector is wrong then your angle will also be wrong so you lose those marks also.

Soo there is no error carried forward if I used the right method with a wrong vector?? The vectors had 3 marks and the angle had 4

ecf depends on the level of the paper too. its not granted all the time.

nov 10 p12 no 9 is a bit like the vector question... perhaps its marking scheme might help u clear ur doubts..

ther is method mark... for dot product.. so u wont lose ur whole marks... method mark for quoting angle formula as well... RawanKhalid

im sure u calculated the other vector right so u get 1 mark coz it was easy the other one
i think for calculating angle we'll get method mark for stating the formula (without replacing values)
so 2-3 marks from 7 is not bad
