    Temperature is only a measure of the average kinetic energy, however you could say that the work done in bringing the molecules fromliquid to gas is much greater than the work done in separating molecules from solid to liquid state.

    I believe this is the right answer.. x-rays for medical diagnostic procedures or for research purposes are produced in a standard way: by accelerating electrons with a high voltage and allowing them to collide with a metal target.     Can anyone please help me with this? I need an A* in Physics A2, however my result at AS level was 86 in UMS. What grade do I need (more or less, cause its impossible to know specifically) in order to overcome the AS result and obtain one on the top 10%?
