    No. Any academic institution for higher education will not admit candidates for a particular degree course becuase they are from a well known school. Admissions are only granted based on academic (and extra-curricular) record as well as based on the Personal Statement/Interview/Entrance...

    No. CIE is not biased. The grading and marking system is completely fair. In fact, the examiners dont even know the Candidate Name/Number/ Center Number so it is not possible for them to be biased. The marks and grades are awarded based on the effort of the candidates themselves.
