    Stress was 1 : .25 and strain was 1 : 4 ... I think. Although 1:2 does make sense

    Chemistry and physics mcqs

Okay first question: Which statement about one mole of a metal is always correct: A it contains s the same number of atoms as 1 mole of hydrogen atoms B it contains the same number I atoms as 1/12 mole if 12C C it has the same mass as 1 mole of hydrogen Atoms D it is liberated by 1 mole of electrons

    Chemistry and physics mcqs

Guys post any questions from both physics and chemistry paper 1 that you're having difficulty with

    Physics P-22 GT.

I doubt it cause in the marking schemes they don't have the formulas or the workings...the values are inserted in. Do u remember how many marks that question was out of?

Crap I think I took the diameter then ugh do you think they'll give me ECF?
  6. S

    Physics P-22 GT.

I don't think I got that. I remember getting 2 point something x 10^4 :S do u remember the diameter and the thickness of the cylinder

Red light. Larger wavelength so the angle of the Maximus and minimal would be larger and the fringe separation would also be greater

    Physics P-22 GT.

    I wasn't talking about you...the 'I' don't care part aptly underlines that point :/

    Physics P-22 GT.

That their young modulus was the same

    Physics P-22 GT.

Are you sure? What was your density?
  11. S

    Physics P-22 GT.

Did you convert everything to the SI unit? The volume of the cylinder had a really big percentage uncertainty because if which so did the density. The absolute uncertainty was 800

It decreases because the current decreases...they asked us tobeefervto the graph...and V=IR...but it was just two marks and the thresholds usually really low so I do t care

It was 76 point something percent

    Physics P-22 GT.

Did it ask about the fixed resistor or the variable resistor? Cause I wrote that it increasse because the increase in resistance is greater than the decrease in current, but if it asked about the fixed resistor this is pretty much a zero
  15. S

    Physics P-22 GT.

Did the potential difference increase as the resistance increased in that resistance current graph q

    Physics P-22 GT.

When do they ever ask us to calculate the NUMBER of wavelengths? That statement in itself doesn't make sebse :S

    Chemistry: Post your doubts here!

It says in he examiners report that removing ammonia in the harbor process STOPS the backward reaction? Wth I thought both reactions always occur...just that one of them proceeds at a faster rate ie the rate if reaction increases. What does the position if equilibrium mean exactly? That the...

    Chemistry 9701 7th may ?

I beg to differ. The questions in chem were different..physics was more or less the same. I mean A at about 50/60? :o plus physics has one line answers...in Chem if we misunderstand the question we can risk a great deal of marks

    Chemistry 9701 7th may ?

I lost a lot of marks in this paper x_x how is the threshold so low every year? Chemistry is harder than both bio and physics and yet the grade threshold of the latter two is always considerable lower :o

    Physics P-22 GT.

Dude I got stuck on question 2. I had to return to the question in the last 5 mins to complete it
