    Physics P-22 GT.

The questions were short but they were also kinda tricky

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

How was the exam guys? I think it was all right...not THAT easy as some people think. Some parts really required thinking

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

Okay here's a questio! A beam of alpha particles produces a current of 1.5 pA. Calculate the number of alpha particles per second passing a point in the beam. And please explain as well

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

But for the effective resistance to remain constant, the resistance of R2 in parallel has to be greater than than in series

    Even in momentum right?

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

The effect resistance will be less in parallel when the resistance in R1 is zero, but for the resistance to be at a minimum in series, R1 should have the greatest possible resistance ie 400 ohms so that the effective resistance if R2 will be relatively less, hence decreasing the pd across it BTW...

When do we take mass as kg and when as grams?
  8. S

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

As you can see from the equation, F and I are directly proportional so it has to be a straight line passing through the krigin

    Mechanics 1 P42 2014; Discussion!

I didn't even write that. I made pseudo angles and then directly write Ta=B/H...will they cut marks for that?

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

Mass will move with the greatest speed at the mean positio so 1 is either .2 or .6 It had greatest elastic potebtial energy when the gravational energy is the least so 2 is 0/0.8 3 is again 0.2/0.6 Are these answers righ?

    What's the difference?

    Mechanics 1 P42 2014; Discussion!

What if its a one mark question? And what of its a 2 mark one?

    9709 MATHEMATICS P42 2014 GT

Yeah I think I multiplied power by the velocity instead if dividing it shit...were any if the other answers depended on this :/

    9709 MATHEMATICS P42 2014 GT

What? I got like 405000 or something :S the first part?
  17. S

    9709 MATHEMATICS P42 2014 GT

Oh now I remember...I though I was wring in assuming that they were both the same distance from the ground since it was me to ones nowhere in the question. I got -4 in the last question cause the only force that I took was friction and not the tension in the other string :p
  18. S

    9709 MATHEMATICS P42 2014 GT

Do you remember how you solved the last part? Also for the second last one, how'd you calculate the heights of A and B from the ground?
  19. S

    9709 MATHEMATICS P42 2014 GT

What about the answers to the last question?
  20. S

    9709 MATHEMATICS P42 2014 GT

The work dove against friction was 25x J
