    Depreciation? It says depreciation isn't charged on year of sale. That office equipment was bought on April 2008 So Apr. 2008 ->March 2009, April 2009-March 2010, Sale on Dec 2010 So two years of depr. = 20%*4000*2=1600.

    There is something called implicit differentiation. Basic example: Differentiate xy + y^2 normally you'd just get equation in terms of x but in this case you can't so you differentiation straight away. E.g. y^2 = 2dy/dx. :|

    EDIT: Nevermind I'm an idiot. Here's the answer. There you go. It's from : http://www.numberempire.com/derivatives.php I checked it myself, it's correct (numerator is 6x2 instead of 36 as 6 was cancelled from denominator)

    Hmm Simple Formulas for trigonometric substituions, sin/cosine theorem etc. come in the exam so you should know the different integration/differentiation rules Small things like, remember how to find unit vectors, binomial theorem/permutations/combinations formula...

    I wrote 24 for the balance of petty cash book. And as for agreement among partners, well I wrote to increase his share of profits; he already has a partner's salary. The only other way is to increase his salary, but I don't think that's ideal answer(Though still correct I guess)

    They don't accept answers in that form :| Yeah you'll get a few marks but not full marks, should make a trading account for full marks. It sucks.

    Is that (e-x)(Acos2x+Bsin2x)? Because if it's y=e-x(Acos2x+Bsin2x) then when x =0, y=e, not 4 :|
