    It's easy. Slice the shape into 3 rectangular laminas. Find the moments of inertia for each of them about their centers. And then use the Parallel axis rule to find each lamina's moment of inertia about A. Add all of them up, and I'm guessing that'll be your answer.

    The analogy's actually logically inconsistent. A fall from the 3rd might hurt way more than a fall from the 100th. When falling from the 100th, death is certain. When falling from the 3rd, one may still survive. And THAT's when it hurts like hell. I know. But ofcourse, I get his point. :P
