How to get an A* in ICT IGCSE?

I don't know about those sites or the textbooks. I personally only studied from igcseict.info for both theory and practicals because the textbook our school gave us was very lacking.

How to get an A* in ICT IGCSE?

I don't really 'recommend' you do any specific past papers, but try to do as many as you can. I know they don't all cover the entire syllabus but it's still good practice, trust me. For theory it doesn't matter because the format is all the same, I did only the ones for 2011, all variants for...

    Math and ICT :(

For ICT just try to focus on your weak points in the practicals since they're the hardest, especially spreadsheets and HTML (for me personally). Practice lots of past papers! The theory part isn't that hard as long as you cover the entire syllabus thoroughly since a lot of the questions match...

How to get an A* in ICT IGCSE?

I got an A* in ICT, it's not really a hard subject at all! I advise that she focus on the practicals as they're the most challenging, especially when it comes to HTML and spreadsheets! There were some tricky questions in the exam I did and I came out thinking I'd get a B maximum if the examiners...

    AS subjects..

I'm also starting AS this year :) I suggest you do 4 instead of 3 as 3 for AS is not enough. If you're taking 3 then it's better to take Math instead of Physics because you already have 2 sciences and you can't possibly specialise in all of them xD Therefore, Math will grant you more...

Chances of acceptance in good university with the following result

Those grades are decent, but I'd suggest you redo your economics/math if you have the time and try to reduce your Bs and Cs. O-Levels aren't considered in the application process by many universities, and you don't need to worry about English if you get a good score in an English proficiency...

    When/how to study: IGCSE's

Well ideally you should be studying currently. For math I just recommend that you ensure that you have a good qualified teacher. The teacher I've had all the 2 years of my IGCSE course was really bad and 1-2 months before the exam I was very nervous. Then I thought of asking the teacher next...

    what is orientation?

I don't think you'd be given anything on orientation day, but you could bring your bag just in case if you're still unsure.

    what is orientation?

Orientation day is the day where students usually get introduced to the school, shown their lockers, given the rules, etc. and you generally don't have to bring anything/wear school uniform as it's not an actual school day.

Private candidates and regular candidates ( i.e through the school )

The qualifications you get inside school if it's a British school (e.g. O-Levels, IGCSE, etc.) are the same as if you do them externally (if they're the same qualification. It won't make any difference where you do them. I guess a main difference is people usually do extra subjects as private...

    ways to improve handwriting

Wow that's 100 times better than mine.. even if you used a mouse xD I don't know how not to write in cursive, I've been taught cursive since I was a child and now every time I try writing the letters separately in words I end up spacing them too far or doing something like writing a sentence...

    ways to improve handwriting

Same situation. Mine is even worse because I'm cross-dominant but I write with my left, so usually I smudge the page when I write in English (which happened in the iGCSE exams too). My teacher gave me her 5-year-old daughter's handwriting practice book, but it hasn't gotten a lot better since...

    Subjects at the British Council

Oh wow.. Guess I won't need to do it then. I just wanted to do AS Computing as an extra subject on top of my normal 5-6 AS subjects, so it's not a big deal really. They should really point out and clarify the process next time though, what a poor institution.
