    Solving Chemistry Doubts Now :)

Draw the structure of Diamond but replace carbon with Germanium. Each carbon is bonded to 4 other carbon in a tetrahedral shape to form diamond. In this structure, each germanium will be bonded to 4 other germanium. Check ms and let me know the correct ans

    Physics paper6 discussion

Exactly, who are we to decide what's wrong and right. This will just make it worse for people to concentrate on their next exam. How was your paper 3 ?

    Physics paper6 discussion

Line of best fit and (or) smooth line. Both will be marked, it's not big of a fuss guys. Most of the MS said best-fit and there were merely any with smooth curve (even though I always wondered why they wanted best-fit instead of smooth curve), both will be marked. Each and every MS has an...

IGCSE Chemistry Revision Guide | According to syllabus

Oops yeah I should have specified (Yes I was talking about Variant 2) Well Oxides of Nitrogen are formed when oxygen reacts with Nitrogen. Engines in the cars are very hot and they give nitrogen and oxygen (present in the air) and opportunity to get to know each other better (react), they...

IGCSE Chemistry Revision Guide | According to syllabus

Yes, I finished on time (well 15 minutes before time) As far as I know, they first calculate the percentage out of 160 and then convert it to 200. Last year it was 150/200 which is around 120/160 (so a mistake of 40 marks in all paper combined would still give you an A*, I guess? Anyone with...

Physics Paper 6 | Best fit line

Is it necessary to draw a line of best-fit in Physics graph ? I've seen several papers in which the marking scheme says 'best fit'. I've never encountered any paper which allows 'curved graphs' Even my textbook does not say much about it. Will we get marks cut if we joined up all the points and...

    Chemistry Doubts: IGCSE Paper 3

    Finally understood the last part (I had to use a notebook :/) Alright so use this C1V1 = C2V2 C= Concetration; V = Volume C1 = C2V2/V1 C2 = 1 V2 = 20/1000 V1 = 15/1000 C1 = 0.02 * 1 / 0.015 = 1.333

    W10 QP 31 Moles of HCL = 40/1000 (convert cm^3 to dm^3) 0.04 * 2 as it says 2 Mol/dm^3, so 2 * 0.04 = 0.08 moles Moles of CoCl2 = 0.08 / 2 = 0.04 [The ratio between HCl and CoCl2] Number of moles of CoCl 2.6H2O formed = 0.04 [Same as above ^] Maximum yield = 0.04 * 238 = 9.52 HCl = 0.08...

    Chemistry Doubts: IGCSE Paper 3

No, I don't think it's required but there is no harm in mentioning it. Mettallic bonding mainly talks about the strong attraction between positive ions and sea of electrons. (i've never seen any question which goes much in detail about it - if you encountered any, please post it here)
