A few things for Physics MCQ to remember (points that people usually forget or don't know at all)

If you know the wavelengths, then I don't think it would take you more than 15 secs to divide speed of light by the wavelength. As for the question you've asked: It says longest wavelength. Note that there is a huge difference between UV and visible. Longest wavelength would be greater than the...

    Self study

I disagree. I would do anything to go back a year and get back the money I fed to the teachers so I can self-study and not listen to their crap everyday. Now I really know what they mean by, "Those who can't do, teach" With the buttload of money we pay the school, we can buy some laboratory...

    Biology paper 12

Just don't wake up till 11 pm.......oh you already did that! Studying is useless if you are doing it around 4 hours before the exam. Things start to become confusing if you study just before the exam.

scared whether i will get an A

Its hard as hell. I gave 8004 too and I am unsure of what I'll get. I might retry in the next may june session. GP is hard to get but you might get As in the other subjects if you happen to have studied well and you get saved by the grade thresholds.

A few things for Physics MCQ to remember (points that people usually forget or don't know at all)

Question is: When same voltage is applied to each of teh follosing......? 1. 14X6 2. 13Y6 3. 18Y7 3. 12Y9 Find the charge to mass ratio, ie. proton to nucleon ratio(notice i said nucleon and not neutron) Then one with highest is the one which has highets velcity.

A few things for Physics MCQ to remember (points that people usually forget or don't know at all)

Every wave in electromagnetic spectrum has speed of 3×10^8 metres per second. Use the formula speed = wavelength × frequency to find the frequency. This is a lot more simpler than remembering frequencies. Remembering wavelengths is quite easy, but frequencies are hard and I prefer to find them...

That's your problem? We had three teachers, and all three sucked.

AS Biology P1 MCQs Preparation Thread

Its not an inhibitor because the rate DECREASES as the concentration decreases, not the other way round. It not an enzyme because chloride ions not protein. So the only remaining answer is co factors.

A few things for Physics MCQ to remember (points that people usually forget or don't know at all)

LOL you do not know path diff? Its simple though. Two points on the wave curve will be given. Just count the number of wavelengths the point has travelled and subtract it from the other one.

A few things for Physics MCQ to remember (points that people usually forget or don't know at all)

Just count the number of protons and neutrons. The number of protons is the charge, number of protons+neutrons is the mass. What kind of school did u study in? LOL

I think the reciprocal of the gradient of the tangent is the resistance, you cannot just use one point.

Read this please........many people made this mistake in physics paper 2 the previous years.

Sorry for the late reply......lol No weight is not equal m*a it is equal m*g If it is being accelerated, then two forces are acting on it, thats the whole point

A few things for Physics MCQ to remember (points that people usually forget or don't know at all)

Sorry I didn't explain what the frequency thing in the first question clearly enough, I realized it after I read it myself. The question will be like: In an open pipe, a resonance(or some other similar word, i forgot) is produced when a wave of frequency of 100 hz is applied. What is the next...

A few things for Physics MCQ to remember (points that people usually forget or don't know at all)

Ok, just some things you dont normally find in books, or some things that will help you do your calculations without calculating anything. People usually forget these things, and some dont know them at all (Sorry the lambda symbol looks cranky, just couldnt find the real one) In a closed...

CIE is running out of questions.

OMG it really is too late for you. Seems like this is the first time you've ever practiced. I opened my first past paper after three days i joined a levels, and I'm doing them ever since. There is no such thing as a 'shortcut' to study a levels, you just have to do past papers. There are just so...

Does A or A* in every subject ensure I'll get a good scholarship in my abroad studies?

Seems like that's all I can think of right now. That coveted 'A'. But I'm just wondering, does it help in getting scholarship or does it depend on SATs and whatnot.
