    They haven't changed the pattern I guess... When they changed the pattern last time in 2007, there're reports of it on the CIE website. It was told that applications is decided to have 30% of the component. :)

    w omega also changes when r is decreased . Suppose there is a larger orbit than another one... Obviously , the planet with larger radius takes more time to complete one revolution around the sun. The first equation I quoted isn't going to be used in this case... w is not constant... v= rw; Hence...

    w = 2( pi )/ T ; so w is independent on r. so w is constant. Thus v is directly proportional to r.
