    A Level question

physics is the hardest out of the bunch. Math isn't as hard. If you know how to speak greek fluently, the AS will be a piece of cake, A2 will be much harder. I don't know about Russian. But i still think 6 a levels are too many, just do math, bio, chemistry and physics. That's more than enough.

i think he really means the length of the wire, not the extension. not that it'd make any difference as the length against force is the same as extension against force, but translated a couple of units up. the gradient won't change.

yeah the modulus of the y-intercept is workfuction/e the frequency of what? you can measure the frequency of sound with a microscope connected to a cathode ray oscilloscope with the time base on, or the frequency of microwaves with a receiving aerial with a cro, you can't do that with visible...

There is an experiment to find Planc's constant. a)You need to assemble a circuit as in a potential divider arrangement and add the anode and the cathode. b) Addition apparatus: source of light and a filter c) you need to measure the voltage and the current using a voltmeter and a nanoammeter...

dark grey solid and purple fumes I dont think there will be any bubbles/fumes because HI will be not be liberated since the iodide ion is a very good reducing agent so I- is readily oxidised to I2. There will probably be a yellow solid as well, form the reduction of sulfuric acid to sulfur

basically the smallest division of an instrument is its precision. Being precise basically means that there's not a large fluctuation between repeating readings. it's come up twice. Once in a unit 2 paper, and once in a unit 3 paper
