Physics Unit 3b experiment predictions??please share

Actually electrons don't have the same energy. Some may be deeper down and have to do work against the vibrating ions. That's why the einstein equation is: hf = w.f. + KEmax. An electron is said to have maxKe only when it's at the very top and has to do no work against vibrating metal ions. the...

Unit 3B Chemistry :) How was the exams? Comment here :P

50 1)the reaction is highly exothermic 2)because it is a drying agent 3)i dont remember 4)- low atom economy (only 33% of the products is the desired one) -economic reasons since there is going to be a lot of storage for by-products 5) add AgNO3, then the precipitate is yellow and...

50 is the correct value to use the mass of zinc is not used in the calculation of the heat energy b/c its heat capacity is very small.

    unit 3 phy help(6ph07)

If i'm not mistaken it is when you're trying to read a value to a higher precision than you should . ie an analogue ruler can read accurately to 1mm, but ie the thickness the object lies somewhere between two successive lines on the ruler, one could argue that the reading is 13.5mm instead of 13...

    unit 3 phy help(6ph07)

it's probably a mistake. Circuits A and D are identical, but D won't work. a 5v meter would work as well. i chose 0.1V as it is small enough and one can read for V which is relatively precise. It could be 0.01V or something similar. 14.7 GPa= 1.47x10^10 10^10= 1x10^10, this has obviously been...

    unit 3 phy help(6ph07)

if you read the question it says that we need to find the voltage at which the diode starts conducting, so one should either vary the emf of the battery in order to vary the p.d. across the diode, or either change the resistance of the circuit, and hence the current in order to vary the pd...

i was talking about 3b sorry correct answer is A for 4 c isn't the answer as the resistance/current can't be changed.

    Physics 2P

the first part of the question was pretty easy.. you jut had to do GPE=mgh if i'm not mistaken. then i put 0J as it the carton's stopped moving then GPE decreases. That's because GPE=mgh... since h is decreasing and m and g remain the same, then GPE has to decrease as it's converted into KE.

    chemistry 2C

I think it'll be fine. I wrote that too. I don't do biology, so i didnt know that enzymes denature at high temperatures..soo, i just put that enzymes, like yeast, are very sensitive to temperature, and at high temperatures they die.
