    Chemistry: Post your doubts here!

    My confusion is that when it says 70% of the reactants (all ?) are converted to products, does it mean that I have to add the number of moles of both the reactants and then multiply it by 70/100 ? When I do this and try to subtract number of moles of a reactant from the final product, I get a...

    Another one.. Oct/Nov 2010 - QP 22 - Question 1 - part (b). I have no idea about doing questions related to horizontal components, the ones with tan, etc. Could someone give me a complete explanation of how to deal with such questions? QP: http://www.xtremepapers.com/papers/CIE/Cambridge...

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

    Oct/Nov 2004, Paper2, Question 1, Part B) (ii) I got the percentage uncertainty of diameter of wire as (0.02 / 0.50) * 100 = 4 % Now when I try to get the uncertainty of the area of cross-section of the wire, the answer doesn't come up as 8%. This is how I do it: Cross-sectional area = pi...

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

    Well, its relatively easy. Displacement is defined as the distance from a fixed point in a specified direction. We're all clear, right? Let me give you an example: I'm sitting in front of my computer and from this point, I will go out of the room and stop there. The distance between my initial...

    Physics: Post your doubts here!

    Hey guys, I've got some mixed signals in doing Q 1 / part B of w02_qp_2. I don't know why p/ro = m^-1 s^-2 / kg m^-3 which is equal to = kg^-1 m^-4 s^-2, and then the marking scheme says square root of p/ro = ms^-1 <==== How?!?!? QP...

    physics p6 doubts

    It clearly says in the question that the rule didn't balance on 50 cm, so we can understand that the meter rule is 100cm and he used its middle value to balance it. But the question also says that it balanced on 49.7cm it means a bit to the left. So to draw it, just scale it down, make 100cm, 10...

    Let's fully discuss this paper right here, so we could improve our overall physics marks since paper 3 (32) was not good. I'll be posting important notes on experiments soon. You guys also contribute.
