    physics p5.....hall probe

Hall Probe is a device to measure magnetic field strength. It has a power source and a voltmeter connected to it. Power source is required to make current flow through the device. The slice of the semiconductor has to be perpendicular to the magnetic field lines so that the current is flowing in...

    Maths (Paper 3)

For solving modular equations: 1. Check that you have the right number of solutions Be careful when solving equations involving a modulus function that you have the correct number of solutions. Sketching a graph is helpful, and you should also check your solution(s) by substituting back into...

    Maths (Paper 3)

The easiest way to understand such problems is to use graphical method Draw two lines: y=2-3x y=|x-3| You will find that they only intersect at one point: x=-0.5 And |x-3| > 2-3x for all values of x greater than 0.5

    Maths (Paper 3)

For the second question: NO!!!!!!!!!! You can only square both sides if both sides are always positive If |x-3|=|x-5| both sides can be squred BUT If x-3=|x-5|, both sides SHOULD NOT be squared because we cannot be sure that x-3 is positive for all values of x

From wiki: In mathematics, ordinate refers to that element of an ordered pair which represents the distance traveled parallel to the vertical axis (y-axis) of a two-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system, as opposed to the abscissa.
