Complete AS Biology Notes (P1 and P2)

Xerophytes also have longer-then-average root hairs reaching down to the very depths for water. It might be worth a mention that phagocytes have granular cytoplasm whereas that of lymphocytes is relatively clear. Furthermore RBC's can be referred to as erythrocytes, whereas WBC's are also...

AS Physics (9702) Paper 22 Answers and Discussion

I dont see why the new way should be a flat line. Shouldnt it simply be a transverse wave having a 1/4th phase difference [90* i think] with the original wave? Flat line makes no sense to me :/

Some short points i would like to add which i think would be helpful: Ribosome has small and large sub-unit, tRNA goes to large unit whereas mRNA goes to small the amino acids form a peptide bond with the help of petidyl transferase enzyme Mutations exist in 3 forms, base addition, base...

Complete AS Biology Notes (P1 and P2)

First off, just ran through your notes, they're pretty well written man props :D Just one suggestion though, i think maybe the amino acids linking up to form peptide bond diagram on page 4 is wrong? I think its the OH group of the acid and H group of the amine? You might want to look into...

idk if my gradient was correct though :( but thank you for the morale!

How was your chemistry p5 ?

Well i did manage to deduce gradient from values, if that helps...

AS LEVEL BIOLOGY... discuss here AS students only :)

your chromosome graph might be wrong, the sister chromatids are the side-by-side long chains, not the above and below chains, atleast thats what it looks like you drew :P

I think the momentum one might be slightly wrong since it was moving with a force of 8.4N i believe, thus its Momentum would be 8.4 first second, 16.8 next, then constant at 16.8.

How was your chemistry p5 ?

I think i managed to do question 1 well, but i really really messed up in Q2 with only 20 mins left, i only managed to get my table values, to make the axes for the graph and make a few points and joined them with a straight line, and my anomalous points were randomly chosen :/ I just said this...

    Chemistry p5 doubts

guys in paper 52 MJ 2011 it says measure the opacity and the examiner has only quoted use of marked "X" but i did the experiment in water bath and want to use a colorimeter....would this be wrong and could someone please give me details on how the colorimeter actually works? {Yes i know it...

    how was chemistry paper 22

Guys the chiral question can go either way depending on your own individual structure! dont lose hope! Secondly, I believe there were multiple pi bond makers, including N, O, perhaps even C. :)

what are expected GT for math P1,Physics22 and chem22

A low 40 is anywhere from 40-44, but alright :P secondly, I believe the physics paper may actually break the 30's barrier this time, atleast it SEEMED that easy. But hey, only time will tell, if anything i hope it IS 30's because that way chance of A is more :D

what are expected GT for math P1,Physics22 and chem22

Im expecting low 40's GT for physics, low 40's for Chemistry as well.

Xino its the persons own loss, if they found out mistakes they lose confidence, and if they try to cheat and copy they have a 99% chance of not getting the same question and then screwing up their paper because they set their hopes on that question coming. :|

    how was chemistry paper 22

Contact process requirements were Vanadium {V} Oxide catalyst, 450C temperature, 1ATM pressure. Example of period 3 oxide and chloride could be P4O10 which burns with yellow flame and the chloride is PCL5 which leaves behind solution of PH 2. Aluminium was the covalent chloride which could...

    how was chemistry paper 22

    1) Not a ma'am. 2) I'd rather be sure. Anyway. I think the NH3 weak base was NH3 + H2O -> NH4 + OH with a suitable description of how a weak base is one which does not dissociate completely in water. With excess Ammonia whatever the compound was [the one with CL on the ends and OH in...

This thread was made to discuss theories and notes BEFORE the physics P2. Now that the paper has been done I would like to request a mod to please close this thread down. I dont want it used for people trying to get questions that will probably never come for them in their own paper. -_-
