IS ECONOMICS NEEDED FOR SCIENCE STUDENTS?

In all honestly, I think you should keep both, EM and Econ. It's not difficult to cope with them together. Been there, done that with a couple more.

IS ECONOMICS NEEDED FOR SCIENCE STUDENTS?

Screw easy, if you have a remote interest for Economics, go ahead and keep it. It's one of the most interesting subjects (and easy to get an A* too! I messed up a whole damn lot yet had an A*) if you have an aptitude for it.

y= 1/(6(48-8x) is the same thing as y = (48-8x)/6 which is the same thing as 6y+8x=48 1/(6(48-8x) and (48-8x)/6 are both acceptable but the third one is not because it asks for y = ... It's like writing x^-1 and 1/x; essentially the same thing so both correct even if the marking scheme...

Does pay off, though, I guess. I know I wouldn't have the stamina to be THAT dedicated. That person is now in Princeton, and served as head-boy of one of the most prestigious schools of Pakistan.

    writing a little too much

This gentleman knows what he's talking about. The DO NOT WRITE HERE/EXAMINERS USE column on the write is not checked out. It's blanked out for examiner comments, and thus isn't read. Anywhere else with a mark or a reference showing you've written it there is acceptable.

    Uhh you're wrong here. (12^1/2 ) = underroot 12 3^3/2 = underroot 3*3*3 So, underroot 12 / underoot 27 = underroot (2*2*3) / underroot (3*3*3) = 2 underroot3 / 3 underroot 3. Hence, 2/3

a= 2 b= -2 Use x = -2 in each equation. Since it's a factor, it'll equal zero. Then resolve the equation and solve simultaneously.
