    I don't have that one:(

    Potentiometer concept

Does anybody know about this? Please guys, anyone?

    Potentiometer concept

And what about the e.m.f part?...

    Potentiometer concept

Dude that's stuff on the potential divider, I need stuff on the potentiometer: specifically on how to use it to find unknown e.m.fs (the theory behind that, anyway)

    Potentiometer concept

Yes yes that's all fine and good but it still doesn't explain what's happening inside the whole circuit, i.e what is the theory behind everything you stated.

    Confirming. Again, thank you.

    Potentiometer concept

I don't understand how we use the potentiometer to measure the e.m.f of a cell I've been surfing the net, all I can find are articles stating how the e.m.f is determined practically, but I haven't found sufficient theory detail.:( If someone could explain it I would be grateful.(y)

    Chem Practical Variant 33/34 2012

So you actually think your centre will be kind enough to hand you a copy of the "apparatus set up details and chemicals involved"(called confidential instructions, by the way:p )!:ROFLMAO: You can wait for those, I'll prepare for the piratical exams instead of relying on some corrupt official to...

Uncertainties(i think it's spelled like that)

I see... You must've noticed this statement of 'range' over and over again in the marking schemes, but it always goes like this "if repeated readings have been taken then uncertainty can be half the range" does that mean that I do not have to use this method i.e I can just use the absolute...

    Chem Practical Variant 33/34 2012

Guys one simple question: How do you expect others to know what will appear on a paper or not, its not like they can predict the future or anything... My simple advice would be to be prepared for anything I don't think CIE's papers follow any particular pattern of repeating questions after...

Uncertainties(i think it's spelled like that)

I read this: Relates to physics P3 Estimation of uncertainty and percentage uncertainty. In some papers you will be asked to calculate a simple percentage uncertainty or state the uncertainty in a measurement. When repeated readings have been done then it is expected that the uncertainty will...

Yeah, A question on a wet practical and a question involving the microscope:LOL::ROFLMAO: Joking..again I think there will be a slide involving a plant tissue or lung tissue.

A question on Tritration, a question on Qualitative analysis and/maybe a question on Physical Chemistry(e.g enthalpy changes, rates of reaction etc):ROFLMAO: Joking.. I think there may be something in a titration question about CuSO4

    Mathematics: Post your doubts here!

Guys its just that the examiner report does not mention incidence where candidates round correctly, only incidences where they do incorrect rounding Though that 2 dp thing has got me thinking
