Dude, wont it be "FeSO^4.xH2O" and we have to calculate x? Like in Nov09 p33
  2. Feelguud77

    Chemistry p33

Its gonna be FeSO^4 i think, we practised that in the nov 2009 p33 practical! And the physics info is correct, theres also gonna be an oscillation question involving paper clips i think :p

Your variant sounds wayyyyy more complicated :s

Dude dint have that variant :p

Mathematics 9709 paper 12 how was it with you?

Why is the tangent angle 71.6, the gradient was negative 3 so the angle was obtuse as in 180-71.6.........no?

lol, go with the flow :p

What i wrote hasn't been etched in stone ya know :p theres a plethora of possible answers, anything you observed ,you wrote, the rest is up to the examiner!

What you write in exams has a way of.................sticking to your mind :P

Atleast one similarity.............Both have trichomes( i heard this for the very first time in the exam and was like Tri....wha? :p) Differences: K1 has vascular bundle visible, fig2.2 not K1 Palisade layer long cylindrical cells,fig2.2 irregular/ amalgamated K1 Trichomes widespread, fig2.2...

Oh yeah!! papers can spin you right round alright!

    That was kinda obvious :p Serial Dilution: 10 cm^3 E + 10 cm^3 W= 5% E 10cm^3 of 5% + 10cm^3 W =2.5% E 10cm^3 0f 2.5% + 10cm^3 W= 1.25% E and so on........10cm^3 of final goes to waste( or washing....meh, doesnt really matter) :p

I actually tried placing the 5cm^3 syringe in the tube and all that did was spill its contents :p must say little bit of a klutz :) but hey, i got a brand new microscope since i was the first roll no. in the lab :P perks!!

Of course tomorrow is chemistry, today was bio ,no?

    BIO 31 discussion

I'm like...........how does the syringe even go into the test tube :P

    BIO 31 discussion

I actually prepared the serial dilutions in the test tubes instead of the petri dishes!! XD ended up dumping 'em in the dishes in the end!
  16. Feelguud77

    Chemistry p33

How was bio? the serial dilution was unexpected but the rest was known.

    Chemistry p33

Np..........but hey, we can only guess right :)

    Chemistry p33

Isn't Nov 09 closer to the mark? Then again, thanks, but the physics part i've heard from many teachers that there will be no electrcity practical what with all the fluctuations in Pakistan, its gonna be moments of forces for sure and an oscillation experiment!!!!!

    Physics Cheat Sheet

^^^^ I've heard we're gettin some wedges and scales for a moments of forces experiment!!!!!!!! in fact, i've seen the apparatus being brought into the center prior.

    Chemistry p33

Chemistry paper 33 people!!! I need guesstimates :Search: Heres what i know: Its gonna be KMnO^4 titration similar somehow to Nov 2009 p33 there MIGHT be a heating question including a crucible!! I had a peek at my lab and found all this prepared stuff :P Salt analysis will be as usual.
