Physics 43!! How was it?? Expected GT anyone?

they also provided the masses of the products. and moreover, the energy was released in the reaction. while using your method, the energy on the RHS was bigger than that of the LHS. I think it's mass-energy which is conserved..

Physics 43!! How was it?? Expected GT anyone?

was it for the energy released in the reaction? I got 200 MeV (rhs mass - lhs mass)*c^2

Physics 43!! How was it?? Expected GT anyone?

I would not be worried about that if you have 87 in AS level.

Physics 43!! How was it?? Expected GT anyone?

I suppose may/june 2012 P43 was rather easy. Maybe as easy as this one. So, GT should not exceed 55 for A

    Physics Help needed

Oh, could someone please tell me one more thing) as usual, the question is split into several parts. For example, in part (a) the task is to show that some quantity(namely x) is 56 cm. Then, part (b) says: find y, which is dependent on x. Then we use 56 cm, right? and what if it is required...

I understood. Thanks! Then, could you look please at the question number 2 http://www.xtremepapers.com/papers/CIE/Cambridge%20International%20A%20and%20AS%20Level/Physics%20(9702)/9702_s11_qp_42.pdf The answer is 0.716 mol (3 s.f.), while the data is accurate to 2 s.f...

    Physics Help needed

Hey guys! I am concerned about the accuracy marks in Paper 4. To what accuracy should we give the answer? I had the same question in Paper 2, when I was advised to write answers to 3 s.f. However, I encounter the answers in P4 which are of different accuracy, for example 1-2 s.f. Can you help me...

    Further Maths discussion

In fact, I did it all in 4-5 months. So, I don't think my experience would be of much use)

Will wait now =) Hope the grade threshold will be about 90% not higher)

    Further Maths discussion

You don't have to take M2 and S2 in order to get A level subject "Maths". I meant that you should know the content of M2 and S2 even though you don't take them (in order to continue with fmath)

    Further Maths discussion

All the best to you as well =) Hope we both will get A*s I suppose it is rather good plan. Take into account that you should know all the content on A-level maths in order to continue on with fmath (i mean, not only S1 and M1, but S2 and M2 as well). Find some books for mechanics and pure...

    Further Maths discussion

In fact, it depends only on your motivation. It is possible even to complete everything in 1 year. My suggested books for statistics is "Understanding Statistics" by Graham Upton. Great book. Didn't use any others for pure and mechanics, so have no info about that)

    Further Maths discussion

Wow... and you are in doubt whether you get A or A*? =) It must be A* then. well =) I feel rather optimistic. lost overall about 15 marks, hope to get A* =) Had the same variant. Did some mistakes in the last question in paper 1, and wrongly selected the test characteristic in some question in...

What variant did you have? What grade are you expecting?
  16. K

    Further Maths discussion

I meant GT for the syllabus. I hope it will be lower than usual, like 180 for A*. Do you think it can be so low? I suppose the mechanics questions were not very easy this time(although paper 1 wasn't difficult)

Bump. Guys, ain't nobody sat for it?
  18. K

    Further Maths discussion

Hey guys, to those who sat for Further Maths (especially variant 2) How was your papers? What do you think will be the threshold?
  19. K

How was your math paper 33?

Yep. That's correct(your answer). Maybe I recalled that wrongly. :)
  20. K

How was your math paper 33?

Can you write the equations properly?
