Anyone sat for Further Maths paper 12?

yes, we have to use that formula. But instead, for S3 I used this one: S3 = (sum(alpha)) ^3 - 3sum(alpha)*sum(alpha*beta) + 3sum(alpha*beta*gamma) that's the correct one. I messed up the signs here. I think I should have used the given formula with n = -1, and got the correct answer. Now I am...

    Physics Paper 23

The same, didn't expect spectrum... although I defined all the names, I hadn't recalled their wavelengths correctly. what about you, guys? A little bit worried about the explanations and accuracy. Do you use 3 s.f. in answers?

How was your math paper 33?

    If needed, the answers: 1) x = 5/(e-1) 2) (a) R = 25, alpha = 16.26 degrees, the answer to (b) is 59.10 degre 3) y = 1/2 (x^2 + 4)^3 4) dy/dx = (2t+3)/ 3. gradient = 2 5) f'(-1/2) = 6e integral = -0.75 6) alpha = -2. beta = 1.67 7) A = 1/24. k = 10 8)p = 9 the point of intersection...

the greatest modulus is the farthest point on the circle ( connect the center of the circle and the origin. continue this line to the farthest intersection). Analogously, find the least. As for argument, draw the tangents(two) from the origin to the circle. The points of intersection will have...

Need a little help with deciding a fourth subject.

If you are good in Maths, and in addition to that, you have a lot of spare time, take Further Maths. Especially, that would be useful if you are planning to take some math-related course
