    Standard of A level paper

    I've yet to see a P3 paper having that high marks requirement! Heck even for P1, mostly you'd get an A on 63-65 marks out of 75 and A* would have been 5-6 marks above that! So for P3 definitely A* would not be at 73/75 ... more like 65-70 marks range!

    O'Levels to A's/A Level

    Yes, you have to take Phys, Chem/Computer Studies and Maths in both O + A Level to be able to apply to an Engineering University or Course! Plus O Level is going to build your base, so go through O Level syllabus before topping it up with A Level!

    That is correct! You will need to clear O + A Level Chemistry to get enrolled in an Engineering Field like Mechanical, Chemical, Automotive etc. But if you plan to do something relating to computers then you can take O + A Level Computer Studies to do Computer Based Engineering!

    You need to give it a best shot and try to score equally good in both! But if you do a bit bad in AS and cover that up in A2 you might still get enough marks to score an A*. Although if you haven't done good in AS I doubt you will do any better in A2 considering it's much tougher than AS!
