    Two CH3 bonded together, with one Sulphur bonded to them all, it is a covalent compounds, so electrons are shared.

    Right, the oxidation state of iron denotes the number of valency electrons. This is not always the case, but it is so with iron. So, as there is one less electron, only 2/3 of the volume used in the first one would be needed, so it would level off at 8cm^3 Hope I helped :)

    The answer was insoluble soluble, as the residue was reacted in the first one, and the filtrate in the second.. I might get 38/40 if what I put for the steel alloy question is right, what did you guys put?
