    Make it tetrahedral, and make sure that you maintain the ratio as in Silicon(iv) oxide. Which is, 1 Silicon : 4 Oxygen 2 Oxygen : 1 Silicon Thus the formula is maintained. :)

    No.. Potassium iodide is a reductant in acidic conditions. So, the colour changes from colourless to brown in the presence of an oxidant..

    What I chose too. As the stainless steel one was right, as it doesn't allow the oxygen to get to the iron, and the second one was also correct, but no method described explained the first one :D

    If you heat the crystals, you will remove the water. You want the crystals to remain hydrated, so it is counter productive. Hope I helped.. Good luck today man :D
